AJAX ScrollerThe new version of AJAX Scroller is now available. Some of the most requested features have made it into this release. You can now display and scroll several articles at a time. Also, you can set the module to remember the last viewed article so it starts there on page refresh. All module instances still work separately and allow individual styling.
Check out the DEMO to see what it can do. What's new in version 1.4?
  • Display several articles at a time
You can now setup AJAX Scroller to display several items at once. One, two, four or as many as you want. All slides are still fetched asynchronously which makes it possible to scroll through hundreds of articles without it affecting the page load.
  • Remember the last viewed slide
AJAX Scroller can now remember the last viewed item so it starts right there on page refresh. This is particularly useful if you use the module to present the site articles which can be clicked on to open. Then the user can continue sliding the articles without being returned to beginning.
  • Select whether to display intro, full text or both
So far you were able to limit the text displayed by number of characters. But sometimes you want to display the intro text in its entirety and it can have different length. Now you can choose which part of text you want to show and limit it as well.
  • Fixed bugs and optimized
Few minor issues has also been fixed, like the problem with pause on auto-play continuing when next button clicked. The code has also been optimized and improved.
