AJAX Register. How to debug unexpected behavior while using reCaptcha?

The other day we updated Joomla AJAX Register to the lastest version, to take advantage of the current reCaptcha Feature.
Unfortunately the user registration form doesn't work as expected. If we use joomla's reCaptcha feature it works flawlessly.
Though after switching to AJAX Register reCaptcha (as recommended), the form simply reloads after hitting "registration" button.
There's neither a log entry nor any output in the browser.

I'm wondering if the plug-in has any debugging/logging features to track this issue.

Did you previously deactivate Captcha in Users options? I selected "None selected" there, activated reCaptcha in AJAX Register and it works for me.

your're right! I work flawlessly now. Though I'm quite sure I'd "none selected" set.
