Redirect feature requests

SEF Advance 2008 v1.8 is out for Joomla 1.5 with some of requested features.

1. Allow to sort the different tables to group 404 pages and the referrer pages.
Done. You can also sort by any other column.

2. Be able to list 404 pages and the referrer pages by hits to quickly fix the most often bad links.
Done. You can also sort by any other column.

4. Next to the 404 URL add a link with a popup to fix (redirect) that link to a different url (negates the need to copy bad link and paste it into the redirect section)
Done. Both on 404 and redirect pages.

2. Allow to sort the different tables by source and target url for an easier overlook of what has been redirected.
Done. You can also sort by any other column.

3. Warn when trying to add duplicate source redirect.
Done. Both on alias and redirect pages.

Well done Emir.

Out of all those suggestions, only 2 did not make the list and one was a superfluous suggestion anyhow (the email option).

The other skipped one - the ability to add more than one redirect on a page (multiple forms basically) would be a nice addon rather than having to hop back and forth continuous times.

However, all that aside.  Thank you!  It is very appreciated and I hope and believe these additions will benefit the whole SEF Advanced 2008 community.

The page above is the new tab from a logged 404 hit.

Could you add a redirect form on this page that would use the 404'd page as the source and the redirect as its new url?

Sure, will do at some point. Good suggestions you brought, thanks. Keep it coming.

How about the ability to sort by # - which would list the first to last or last to first added redirect/alias.

When doing many redirects at once, sometimes it can be hard to remember which one you did last.

and how about a retard safe guard, if redirecting a url to itself thus creating a loop which will puke out.  This has happened to me :/ - copy and paste the same url by accident.

I am very impressed by how you have actually used the majority of my suggestions and at least to me has made this great product even better.
