We've upgraded our server to php 5.2.6 but having issues with IonCube now. Before it can be fixed I'd like to disable SEF Advance for the time being.
Naturally, I get this error in the front end AND back end (SEF Component):
Site error: the file /hsphere/local/home/XXX/XX/components/com_sef/sef_conf.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.
How do I disable SEF Advance at this state?
administrator/components/com_sef/conf.php is encrypted!
I tried disabling Joomla's default sef - it doesn't work.
I thought of disabling it at the database () enable=0, it doesn't work.
What do I do? will I need to uninstall?

In latest version on SEF Advance you can disable SEF Advance on ionCube error, in fact it will disable itself on ionCube or license error.
If you run an old version, which you seem running you will need to uninstall.

You are running the latest version now, I don't know if you upgraded or not.
