Newsportal and sefadvance

When I use sefadvance and newsportal on same site, I get a lot of error - can someone help me get rid of these :

That's notices (not errors) in the sef extension for that component. Search this forum on how not to display notices or contact the author for help.

Very weird.........

I now tried disabling sef for newsportal (in SEFadvance component) and now it works.

By "works", I mean:

1. It doesn't return the errors
2. It DOES return the right searchengine friendly URLs - also in Newsportal.

Weird, weird....
