Is it possible to remove the section from URLS using SEF Advance?
so instead of
section/category/article
you get
category/article
If so how?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

No, it's not possible unless you use manual alias. The reasons are in performance and SEF Advance being pure-logic SEF solution there conversion is done on-the-fly and no URLs are saved in database.

			One more question..
If I use an alias will it allow me to get rid of the sections completely or will it just rename them?
I need my URLS to look like www.mydomain.com/category/article.php
I want to get rid of the sections because my niche is so narrow I would end up with duplicate "directory" names.. I also want to make them shorter so they are more memorable..
Thx for your help!
BTW - I do use the default hierarchy on some of my other sites and SEF Advance works perfectly =)

You can have it exactly as you want with alias but the drawback is that every URL needs to be defined manually. Can be annoying if you have many articles.

My last question is will setting manual aliases have any effects on SEF Advance's ability to avoid duplicate content?
