bug after upgrade from 4.9 to 5.4.3

sorry if i wasnt clear

when version 4.9 was installed i had in my articles links to other articles, their href was non sef i.e index?option=com_content&task=view&id=77&Itemid=8

sef advance automatically converted it to sef frriendly url

however with the new version i get a 404 error

404 error on what?

I seriously doubt that depends on version change. It must be some setting you changed.

settins is exactly the same , you already know my site so i'll email you the url for you to see

Th eproblem is in the old version index?option=com_content&task=view&id=22&Itemid=8 was converted to an sef url

now it needs to be index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=22&Itemid=8

All my non sef urls need to be converted as a result.

I also found that before the upgrade search engines were crawling the old urls just fine , now as a result there is a problem and page is not loading

now it is actually hurting my seo efforts

In additon when i trun sef advance off url such as
www.babyhold.com/index?option=com_conten...view&id=126&Itemid=1

or even
www.babyhold.com/?option=com_content&task=view&id=126&Itemid=1

could go the appropriate article

however with the new versiobn i get a 404 sef error. Now i can fins it myself and in the meanwhile search engibes are detecting all urls as wrong. I will appreacie if you could help me with this matter as soon as you can.

I can't even go back to the old sef version in the meanwhile as i dint have it.
