Yes, I know about the profiles. The only proper solution would be to implement ACL for each field and that's planned for next versions.

Thanks, actually we are doing this project and made choice of Ajax Register instead of ExtendedReg because we found that your background is really related to Joomla and also you are very reactive on forum to add new functions per demands,
we also asked to add integration between Ajax register and Imaqma Help desk which is almost done by Pedro @ www.imaqma.com/ and will be release next week i will let you know.
i understand that maintaining and developing new functions need lots of time and you are doing great work with that already
Please do your best and with your time for next release.

A new version of AJAX Register is out now:

Each field has Access setting now which will allow you to define which user group can view which field in their profile. This goes through Joomla's built-in Viewing Access Levels.
