Requirements

Before downloading this trial please ensure that your server meets all the requirements.

Downloading

If your server fulfils all the requirements download SEF Advance trial version depending on your CMS version:


Enter your valid email and domain where you will be doing the tests. SEF Advance trial license will expire in 5 days. During this time it will work without restrictions on the site it's been registered for. Note that once you have downloaded the trial version you will not be able to download it again so make sure you enter the correct email address and domain.

Installation
---------------
If you are using Joomla! 1.5 follow these steps:

1. Make sure you have built-in SEF enabled and functional, with htaccess.txt renamed to .htaccess
2. Install SEF Advance 2008 by uploading the zip file to admin (Extensions > Installer)

If you are using Joomla! 1.0 or Mambo 4.5.1 or higher follow these steps:

1. Make sure you have built-in SEF enabled and functional
2. Replace your .htaccess with the one found in SEF Advance zip package
3. Install SEF Advance by uploading the SEF Advance zip file to admin (Components > Install)

If you are using Mambo 4.5.0 you will have to install it by replacing two core files:

1. Make sure you have built-in SEF enabled and functional
2. Replace your .htaccess with the one found in SEF Advance zip package
3. Go to includes/ directory of your Mambo installation
4. Replace file sef.php with the one found in SEF Advance zip package
