I loved the simplicity of installing,and how it looks on my sites, but the basic parameters do not show up on the back end and I am assuming that is where one can put in the web address of the site the user is recommending. The email sent only has the developer's web site, not the one the user of our site would like to recommend.

I am using J! 1.5.2

Any easy way I can fix this?

It actually started working after I sent a second recommendation email from each of my sites. Not sure why it didn't work correctly the first time. I still don't have any choices listed under Parameters- Basic.

This is a component for Joomla 1.0. It works on 1.5 but there are no such 1.5 specific features like component parameters.

If you read the documentation you will see that you can make some settings in Recommend file (recommend.php). That's it.
