Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to modify the code in the Recommend component to allow for the recommendation to be sent to multiple persons?

Also I would like to know if it is possible for the message area to be deleted and a custom message sent from admin. I want to cut down the chances of the recommend component being used for spam purposes.

Sure but it's not something supported and would involve custom programming. Recommend is open source and it can be done by anyone.
