Install problems - demo uninstall to purchase install

I purchased the AJAX Photo Album. I uninstalled the demo version and now I can't get the purchased version to install correctly.

I went into my FTP to delete the half installed files and I cannot delete them.

How should I proceed?

It's probably permission problem. Install Joomla eXtplorer and use it to delete the files.
