Are you running Joomla! 1.0.13? In that case you must download and apply the Hotfix for Joomla! 1.0.13 first. Click here to download.

Yes, AJAX Photo Album is compatible with Joomla! 1.5 in legacy mode.
My images in frontend don't load and my albums in backend don't show (JS errors).
Make sure that files ./components/com_apa/scriptload.php and ./administrator/components/com_apa/admin.scriptload.php have sufficient execution rights. If you run PHP as CGI with suPHP note that all component files must be CHMOD 644 and directories CHMOD 755 (if it doesn't work try 755 for files too). If you have CHMOD 777 on files and folders the execution of the scripts will result in Internal Server Error.
