Use the same alias Url for the second time

Hello,

i have the following problem:

Since today i used SMF as forum and linked to it with alias Url like this: site/forum

Everything was fine.

Now i changed to fireboard, deleted the SMF forum (the forum is under Construction, no users, no content), and want to have the same alias Url for Fireboard: site/forum

But it didn´t work. I deleted the old alias (for SMF), emptied the SEF Advance cache, emptied the browser cache, made correctly (i think) the new one (for Fireboard), but the new board didn´t show. Instead of that, a white site is shown, with "old fashioned" links to "parent directory" (my homepage) and "packages".

Did i make mistakes? Couldn´t i use the same alias-Url for the second time (if the first one is deleted)?

Sorry, Saka, but i have to push that. Please let me know, if you need more informations. I can give you backend login also, if required.

If i remember rightly, i don´t have this problem for the first time. The same Url for the second time - is that a problem, if the first Url was deleted?

Saka, i have to say sorry. The problem was on my webspace, not in your component. Fireboard is now reachable under the said Url. Everything works fine.
