Not yet. It takes some time as support for 3rd party components is not priority. But it is on my list.

OK, I hope this can be resolved soon. It's also strange that I am unable to ignore the SMF bridge component with SEF Advance.

Quote
$mosConfig_sef is set if SEF is turned on in global configurations regardless of SEF Advance settings.

That's what I would think too. Do you know why this code would not work then?

Code:
global $mosConfig_sef

echo '<li><a href="', ($mosConfig_sef !='1' ? ($post['href']) : sefReltoAbs ($post['href'])), '">', $post['subject'], '</a> ';

Joomla SEF on => outputs SEF URLs
Joomla SEF and SEF Advance on => outputs non-SEF URLs.

Saka:

I finally discovered that this has to do with the trailing slash.

Found this post, but if I make that change to not strip the trailing slash, the URL becomes:

http://localhost/option,com_smf/Itemid,71/?action=post;quote=6841;topic=1818.0;sesc=3bba57e6cf85a360a096f64db5a6c731

to the admin:

If I give you FTP access can you take a look at this for me?

sample link

obviously the link won't work for you, but the problem is that when clicked on directly, I am redirected to http://www.kaitech.hk/option,com_smf/Itemid,71/  but if I cut and paste the exact same URL, it works.

PLEASE, could you take a look at this. It's been more than 6 months since I last heard from you and I think you'll agree that I've been extremely patient.  I don't understand why you keep ignoring this.

If I've been unreasonable then at least let me know!  Angry

Please log in to your account and access any message... say

http://www.kaitech.hk/option,com_smf/Itemid,71/topic,1867.0

Please close the quick reply box at the bottom and then click the quote button so it does not bring you to the quick reply...

and then you will see that it redirects it to the forum index.

The problem is in SMF, not in SEF Advance. After you click on the Quote link it redirects to:
Code:
/option,com_smf/Itemid,71?action=post;quote=6955;topic=1867.0;sesc=f2a051b6c91c10c737b956c94d1890f4

Of course, this is not a valid URL and that's why SEF Advance redirects back to /option,com_smf/Itemid,71/

I think it should be fixed in SMF rather than SEF Advance. It should not redirect to that faulty link, it should stay on
Code:
/option,com_smf/Itemid,71/action,post/quote,6955/topic,1867.0/sesc,f2a051b6c91c10c737b956c94d1890f4
