Sure. You should use relative links and they will be coverted. So make sure that your link is like:
<a href="index.php?option=....">Top</a>
No leading slash or domain. Then the link will be converted automatically by the SEF mambot.

Thanks. Now is there a trick to making the links relative??? I tried taking out everything prior to the "index.php...." but the systems puts it back in when I save the article!?!?!? I tried the html editor also and same thing. It seems to be adding the "http://modelgasboats.com/" before any link, unless I start that link with "http://"

The editor might be adding it so turn off any editor you have in main Joomla configuration.
