[SEF ADV & VIRTUEMART] Product in same category with same name

Hi,
in my website i have in some category 10 product with same name. With SEF ADV & VM, if i click on 4nd of this i see the 1st. Is normal, but so work SEF Advance. So i ask, how can i to have a link:

www.mysite.com/category/product-product_code

(or similar)?

Must i customized sef_ext.php file?

You would need to customize sef_ext.php for VM, yes. But simplest solution: don't have same names for different products.

I think the best way would be to add the product sku to the file name. This way, each link would be unique as the sku already has to be unique....

We just need somebody that understands this plugin.....

Can somebody give us a hint? I have the same issue....

I followe dyour suggestion and made the names unique. But it still does not work. I'm using parent and child products in Virtuemart. And while I can select a parent product, once I select one of the OPTIONS, I get the 404 error  for product not found.

Here are examples for the strings of products with the result:

Parent Product that works fine:
http://www.charisma-art.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=754&category_id=2&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=105

Child Product of this one that does not work:
http://www.charisma-art.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&Itemid=105&category_id=2&product_id=757

Any idea what is going wrong?

I think I found it: I had "Redirect non-SEF URLs:" turned on. It seems to work when I turn it off. I'm testing some more....
