Run SEF Advance on localhost

Hi,
I would like to run SEF Advance on my localhost computer for a lot of reasons, two of them are update virtuemart extension to latest release and building new extensions.
If i try to run SEF Advance on my localhost, it says:

Code:

Error!

The installed copy of SEF Advance is not licensed for localhost
Please notify the site admin to purchase a valid license of SEF Advance for this site at http://www.sakic.net

There's a way to have it working in local?

Yes, send a mail with request to add localhost to your license.

The other option is: if your developing from windows to edit your hosts file under \%windir%\system32\drivers\etc to point your production domain to your local IP.

When working with SEF related things it's more comfortable to view the URL is they would actually be in production.
