is it possible to remove categories uls in this extension?

ourdomain.com/directory/fruit
becomes
ourdomain.com/fruit

Or
domain.com/directory/fruit/bananna
become
domain.com/banana

i now this is possible in another sef component, thats why i am posting this here, maybee i missed something..

Is this already possible? it is a planned feature?

Also i noticed that if i use some component in frontpage when click on in in the main menu the component name apears in url:
I use ijoomla news portal in one site as frontpage replacement the site is site.com but when i click home the homepage url becomes site.com/newsportal/ can i remove component name (or alias) from frontpage?

Thanks in advance

SEF Advance uses the SEF extension included in Mosets Tree so for any feature of its URLs please ask Mosets for support. SEF Advance itself will not include support for 3rd party components, it uses a modular system.

As for the component URL I will check that in few days (I am on vacation). You didn't say for which version of SEF Advance.

thanks for the quick reply, hope you have good vacations..

is this possible trough somekind or url alias or redirect?

We could use it sometimes in joomla core also:

section/category/article/
becomes
Category/article
or
Article/

For Joomla core skipping sections/categories is supported (read http://www.sakic.net/news/exclude_sections_and_categories_from_your_urls/) but 3rd party components URLs are managed by their own extensions so that's where you ask for support and features on that.

Of course, you can setup an alias but then for each URL separately.
