Such links are not SEF Advance generated, that's the core SEF.
Check if your SEF Advance 2008 is activated and see if the license is ok.

If you can't work it out send a mail with exact URL and access info.

Specific issue, send to email with exact URLs and access information.
93  Products / SEF Advance / Re: contact & some other problems on: 05 November 2008, 03:35
There seems to be specific issues which should be directed to email with exact URLs.

Yes of course. Please read the documentation (the help files). It is well explained there.

SEF Advance 2008 v1.7 supports Joomfish 2.0 now. Tested with RC1.

No, please contact iJoomla about that.

SEF Advance will work with any combination of those settings, so it all depends on your preference and server capabilities.

Search Engine Friendly URLs: Yes (it must be turned on so you get SEF URLs)

Use Apache mod_rewrite: Yes (if your server supports mod_rewrite you should definitely turn on it, otherwise you would have index.php in your URLs but SEF Advance will work in both cases)

Add suffix to URLs: Your choice. If you choose Yes the suffix defined in SEF Advance configurations will be added to your links. Otherwise there will just be a trailing slash.

That's not an error, just a notice. Notices are nothing to worry about.
Have no idea what causes it, I would need to have full access and exact URL.
99  Products / SEF Advance / Re: SOBI2 extension and Alpha-Index on: 28 October 2008, 18:12
The alpha index for SOBI2 extension has been fixed now. Please update your extensions for SOBI2: http://www.sakic.net/content/scripting_files/sobi2_sefa_ext.zip

The problem with pagination was caused by SEF Advance 2008 itself, it has been fixed too so upgrade to the latest version.

If you change any settings in SEF Advance afterworlds your links might be broken, so it's not recommended. The settings are to be set when you start the site and not changed later. You could setup automatic redirect in .htaccess with mod_rewrite but still you would use ranking so better don't touch the settings when site is already indexed with many URLs.
101  Products / SEF Advance / Re: SEF Advanced .html extension on: 28 October 2008, 14:52
No, if you leave it empty you would end up with trailing slash. If you think it would be beneficial not to have any suffix I could consider it for next versions maybe.

Please send a mail with FTP info. I am working on the extension but need to test and it takes too much time to replicate locally. Thanks.

Maybe you could explain the issue in detail and put some example URLs. I never heard of the component and never tried it either.

Have patience please. I hope I don't have to remind you that 3rd party components are not covered by support, the extensions are provided unsupported. I will have a look when I get some time over.
105  Products / SEF Advance / Re: Duplicate Title Tags on: 27 October 2008, 19:45
Hi Steve,

Thanks. I agree with you.
But even if you simply have Prev / Next you would still get different URLs for different pages in Joomla and you would again end up with duplicate titles. Do you think these duplicate titles hurt the page rank of the site?

What would you think the solution would be? Maybe using AJAX pagination where URL would remain the same (with just a different anchor)? Then Google should not treat them as different pages.
