33  General / Services / Re: Drupal extension? on: 19 July 2007, 00:43
Hello,

I think it will be a good start if you can offer ajaxlisting and ajaxrecommend modules for Drupal. Another request is a Geo Location of the users and visitors in a Google Map; moreover, I have this request for joomla too (to show visitors and CB users). Like Geo Community component try to do but without success since there is some serious bugs!
Since those CMS are use for big communities a Geo Location addon showing avatars and some users info will be great!
34  Products / AJAX series / Choose Categories on: 17 July 2007, 21:42
Hello Emir,

It's possible to choose what categories I want to display in Latest Articles with Ajax Listing?

Also, there is a possibility when I want to display the latest CB Users to display only the user name and not the real name of members?

Thx!
35  General / Services / Re: Drupal extension? on: 16 July 2007, 04:01
Hello Emir,

At this time I have not a good idea about drupal because I need to finish first a big site with joomla. But I will be happy to give you some ideas when I'll start a site with this CMS! Frankly, I'm waiting the new Drupal theme club at Rockettheme because the actual themes for Drupal are very very bad. Andy Miller is planning to open a theme club.
For sure, Drupal is a niche for theme and good modules.
Drupal have a default url rewriting very good. So, SEF Advance for Drupal is not a good idea. Also, the users management is very powerful. But I will have some ideas very soon Wink

If you want to have a look at the actual modules for Drupal just go here:

36  General / Services / Drupal extension? on: 15 July 2007, 04:51
Hello Emir,

At the moment I'm using Joomla because I love this CMS. However I'm thinking to start to use for some projects the Drupal CMS. Some BIG sites like NASA, YAHOO and many others "strong" websites use Drupal for stability, security and flexibility reasons.
What do you think to diversify your business and code some modules for Drupal? Well, I'd be an happy customer  Smiley
37  General / General Discussion / Non GPL discussions and Sakic extensions on: 05 July 2007, 01:14
Hello Emir,

I would like to know if the Non GPL statement for Joomla third party will affect your job here and us like customers. Do you think to leave Joomla like some developers or you will update your extensions and create new ones?

Thx!
38  Products / SEF Advance / Re: Disable SEF just for one IP on: 29 June 2007, 23:56
If I understand correctly you would like to be able to switch off SEF completely (both built-in SEF and SEF Advance) for a particular IP.

I am concerned that making this feature would confuse users. The only place to switch SEF on and off is main configuration (configuration.php file). Doing an override in SEF Advance to force switch off would surely confuse unexperienced users as the where to turn on/off which SEF.

There is an easy way to achieve what you want though.
Put this code in your configuration.php:
Code:
if ($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']=='123.123.123.123') {
  $mosConfig_sef = '0';
} else {
  $mosConfig_sef = '1';
}
Change 123.123.123.123 to your IP.

Hello Emir,

I added the code and change the IP for mine but it doesn't work. The url's generated are very stranges like this:
http://www.mydomain.com/content/view/183/25/content/view/91/28/content/view/197/21/
The result is strange too  Cheesy all pages looks like the main page but with flash and javascript disabled...
39  Products / SEF Advance / Re: Questions to new Sef-Advance fuctions on: 29 June 2007, 19:52
I installed the latest SEF Advance and seems to work fine with SEF Patch. These 2 components work diferently for custom metadatas.
SEF Patch allow to modify the title and keywords directly in the meta tab when you edit a content. However, SEF Advance allow you to change metadatas if you add a link in the Alias & Meta area of the component. I'm right Emir?
I didn't tested really but seems ok. If I find any bug I will report here.
40  Products / SEF Advance / SEF Advance and standalone xml sitemap generator on: 29 June 2007, 03:23
I just would like to share with you the great combination of SEF Advance and standalone xml sitemap generator. http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/
This tool generate xml, txt, ror and html sitemap for your site automatically and you can set a cron. When the generator finish his job, the sitemap is submitted to Google and Yahoo! I use a weekly generation for my site.

And, the more beautiful is your sitemap will be created only with SEF url  Grin

YES! it's exactly what I need to build internal links! I will use this code tomorrow when I will come back to create more pages. It's very important to have SEF Advance turned ON all the time because Googlebot and other bots visit my site several times a day.

You understood very well my bad english  Cheesy Thanks!

Hello Emir,

You are more fast than your shadow to solve problems!  Cheesy
Thanks very much for your support!

Well, in concern of the error, I read the FAQ before contact you. The problem is I haven't saw the relation between set replacement and the CB registration url... Also, it wasn't a 404 error page but "You are not allowed..."

I think you can add the set replacement in the question regarding "After installing SEF Advance some content prompts me to login first even though it's set to public..." I was looking for a solution here: http://www.sakic.net/support/faq/sef_advance/#17

or you can create one more item in the FAQ with more details?

Hello,

You can try to figure it out with FAQ:
http://www.sakic.net/support/faq/sef_advance/#17

I have the same error but with CB. I read the FAQ, this forum and old forum but I'm not able to solve the problem... For sure it's something I don't understand in the FAQ or joomla structure. I sent a message to Emir and hope he will have time to look at my site.
