It's possible (and how) to not show unpublished articles with Ajax Listing? I want to create a lot of articles and shedule them to be published after but I don't want to show the titles in the lastest articles list.

I defined a redirection for an old url but when I try to access the orld url I'm redirected to the home page instead the nex url. I defined the redirect function like that:
Source URL: section/category/old%11title.html
Target URL: section/category/newurl.html
Redirect type: 301 moved permanently

The same problem happens in another website where i defined several redirects.

Can you tell me what I doing wrong?

although not a Joomla component - this is by far THE best xml sitemap generator I have ever tested.

Best of all, updates are free and you can use it on any and all of your own domains and it is cheap $20.  They have an affiliate program but to show my unbiased oppinion the above link is a straight link to purchase it.

As you can see, all links are sef advanced, as it actually crawls and it pings Google, LIVE and Yahoo when done and it can run in the background and I am 99% certain you can even cron it, don't see any reason why not and it is not a resource hog either, and should it drain your server, you can set it to wait every x seconds/minutes/pages.

Yes, I'm using it in all my websites with Sef advance (some of them are large with more than 15,000 pages). I'm using cron to generate automatically a new sitemap.xml everyday. This script ping automatically the more important Search Engines. You can install in less than 5 minutes.

Hello Saka,

I created a redirect from mydomain.com/index.php to mydomain.com
However, I have a problem with other url containing index.php in the name. For example I use Google Search integrated to my joomla site. The results are displayed into a page in my website. Google Search open a new page with url /index.php?domains=mydomain.com&q=keyword&sitesearch=domain.com&sa=Google+Search&client=etc.
In this case, the page is redirected to mydomain.com

Do you know if there is a solution to prevent this problem?

and announce this new component supports SEFadvance

Hello,

luscarpa from JMovies is developing the sef_ext.php for his component. I'm testing the beta version with some issues: there is %20 instead - between words in the titles, and lower case is not working at the moment.
However, it's a good news to know this component will support SEFadvance and I hope the ext. will be ready very soon.
I will post the link for download.

Yes I'm using the MyBlog Patch in two site; very soon in another one.

When you create an entry in your blog, you need to copy the title and paste in the permanent link and seprate each word with "-"; i.e. your title is Title of my entry then put in the permanent link Title-of-my-entry and will work
