What do you have in Users Configuration settings?
Send me the admin password, I will test.

No, in that case you should create different registration forms through menu. See http://www.sakic.net/news/register_users_in_different_user_groups_with_ajax_register/ for details.

Hello,

The URL of the article /index.php/component/content/article?layout=modal&id=24&tmpl=component is a blank page. You should activate error reporting to see what's wrong.

Hello,

I get this error on checking email:
Code: [Select]
too much recursion

Line 280
Can you send the admin password and FTP info and I will check what's going on.

Possibly a JS error. Can you post your URL?

on: 02 December 2013, 22:27 23 Products / AJAX series / Re: Issue after Joomla 3.2 upgrade

2 maybe we should disable the field so users can not enter any text manually, only by using the calendar. That would eliminate chance for errors.

3 that's actually bug in Joomla which I now have to overcome.

on: 01 December 2013, 16:00 24 Products / AJAX series / Re: Issue after Joomla 3.2 upgrade

2. Joomla uses PHP DateTime class to generate date from saved string. It will not understand DD/MM/YYYY because it's not valid localization format per http://www.php.net/manual/en/datetime.formats.date.php and will return error.

In order to avoid that I would have to unnecessarily duplicate much of the code. You have similar format DD.MM.YYYY , also DD-MM-YYYY would be possible to add.

3. Still don't get it. This is only for hidden fields. Which field exactly do you get this problem with?
The layout is directly from Joomla's default users component layout. And it can be overridden so you add that label in your own override if you really need to.

Hello,

1. Ajax validation on form no more working after joomla 3.2 upgrade, is there an issue ?

Fixed. Thanks for reporting.

2. but in France we have date format like 01/12/2013 can you please make it available in backend on date field option.

Unfortunately, due to limitation in Joomla / PHP only these formats would be allowed: http://www.php.net/manual/en/datetime.formats.date.php

3. on default view on line 89 you set to show only input with label attached to it, is it possible to separate label so that i can style it with bootstrap.

Not sure what you mean exactly. If you can explain some more. Note that you can always do a template override for your own design.

4. from joomla 3.1.5+ we have possibility to set password length, but ajax register still control only old  4 character limit.

Added support for that now, thanks.

Please download the new version and update.

AJAX Scroller, that's a module, not component.
Yes, looks like the helper JS is making problems in Joomla 3.2. I disabled it, please download the new version. For now you will see all options at once. I will make a new script to improve user friendliness in Joomla 3.2 later.

It's not in the alias but it will be in the URL! Alias is not the URL. Activate the feature and check your actual URLs.

First you have to tell me which "your component". If you mean AJAX Register attached is the screenshot of it running in Joomla 3.2, also upgraded from 3.1. As you can see it's running just fine, nothing missing.

So maybe your upgrade was bad, check if you get same problem with other components, try with clean Joomla 3.2 installation too and make sure you have very latest version of "my component".

A unique ID is added to URLs. That makes URLs accepted by Google News. Why does it matter it's not added to alias record?

That would involve changing of the core files, which we can't support. But it's fairly simple to add a simple link somewhere.
