Usage of com_recomend?

Where and how can I find out, how often is used the recomendation comp. on the site? Do the users use it at all?If there is no other possibility, one can put the admins email e.g. as another receiver (somewhere in the code) and to be informed what wrote the user and how often it is being used. But where in the code to place that?
