No, it doesn't store the emails. It's just a module and not a component and it would take a component to manage the database records.

i am currently using the version 2.4, its a component that i installed not a module. I asked in the ajax area because i am debating making the purchase if it will store to the database.

Recommend 2.4 is a component and it's open source. So anyone can take it and add a feature of storing emails.
AJAX Recommend is a module and no, it doesn't store emails either.
