mouseover arrows

Hi
I am trying to creating an effect as you do in multiple articles here:
http://joomla25.sakic.net/ajax-scroller/
I have create a sprite image but but the two arrows appear side by side as they do on your RSS example.

How do I separate the location of the two arrows - one to the left of the box and the other to the right?
